ApCal started out as the ApCal Tasting Room and ApCal Winery. ApCal meant “Appellation California,” referring to the origins of the wines we served in our wine tasting room and visitor center. We started out with a humble “Patio Stage” with local bands, then grew to a larger outdoor concert stage featuring big LA and SF tribute bands. When they built a brand new truck stop next to our original ApCal location, we decided it was time to move to even bigger and better digs … literally right around the corner.

Our new venue is located at 7409 Road 32 in Madera, CA just one exit north of Herndon (the Avenue 7 exit) off Hwy 99.

Our 3 acre facility is one of the largest outdoor concert venues in the Madera and Fresno area. Our concert grounds include a 40’ x 40’ stage, 40’ x 40’ dance floor, picnic-style seating for you and all your friends, plenty of free parking, a state of the art sound and lighting system, a full-service bar serving beer, mixed drinks and wine to our guests 21+ along with fully-serviced outdoor porta potties, overhead misters and nearly 50, 30+ foot tall shade trees.

Our full-service bar serves Riley’s Brewery beers , a selection of cocktails, plus shots of whiskey, vodka, and tequila, all the mixers and your favorite sodas, juice and water along with a few wonderful California Wines.

We invite the Valley’s best food trucks to every ApCal Rock'n Ranch concert. From tacos to tri-tip, these hand-picked trucks give you the choice of different cuisines, styles and flavors. We make sure that they have great (fast!) service too. Come hungry or take something home. You’ll leave with a full belly and happy ears.
